Liebster Award
I am so chuffed to have received the Liebster award from Shirley at Cottonberry Creations thank you so much Shirley, it is an honour to receive it.
Liebster Award-
It is given to blogs with less than 200 followers and passed from Blogger to Blogger, each hand picked by the previous recipient. This award is not given lightly and takes much thought as to who will receive it. There is a history to the Liebster Blog Award- it originated in Germany and means dearest or beloved, and Liebe is the word for love.
When one accepts the award they agree to:
Thank the person who gave them the award and link back to that person’s blog
Copy and paste the award to their blog
Reveal the next 5 blogs they have chosen to receive the award, commenting on their blog to break the happy news!
And lastly, hope the artists nominated will do the above and keep the award going by accepting and awarding “The Liebster Blog Award” to 5 special bloggers that they too would like to honor.
Here are my five nominees :-

On to my latest offering
I made this card for my friend Tina who very kindly drove a group of us to the Stamperama show in Stevenage last sunday.
This is one of the new Wee stamps that I bought there called Spring Bringer. I fell in love with these stamps when they were digital and I was so pleased to see them now in rubber stamps as I water colour and couldn`t do digi images.
I`ve water coloured with distress inks and added a bit of sparkle here and there, (can`t have a fairy without glitter LOL !)
The paper is Mellisa Francis - Nancy and the flowers are from the same stand as I got the stamp from but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called !
The punch is Martha Stewart and the sentiment is SU.
I`m hosting my first Stamping Up party tomorrow which I`m really looking forward to and now I`d better get off because I have some baking to do for the occasion, thanks for looking in, bye for now and happy crafting.

Hello Horse
I was commissined to do this card for a friends friends Grandaughter ! I didn`t have much of a brief to go on just that the recipient was turning 18 and that she was horse mad. Unfortunately this is the only stamp I have with a horse on it but it is a favourite of mine from LOTV. Hopefully it will be well received. I`ve coloured with distress inks and used a bit of glossy accents on the apples and the horses eye, don`t think it shows up well in the photo... In fact the photo isn`t the best I`ve ever taken but it is VERY overcast here ( the sky is full of snow methinks !) so I was running around the house trying to get the best light to take this.
In the end I layed it on my bed and took the photo from above as there are two windows in my bedroom giving the best light I was going to get today !! (hence the rumpled linen look around the edge of the piccie !)
I`ve used backing papers from Card Creations - pink gingham and Melissa Frances - Nancy. Cheery lynn die ( my new one that I cannot stop using ) and Marianne creatables dies for the little flowers.
The large flower was made by using the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die cutting four of the medium and four of the smallest flowers on the die, spritzing them with a bit of water just enough the dampen the paper and soften the fibres, screwing them up and carefully unfolding them again and layering together with a pearly brad to hold them in place in the middle.
It`s been qutie a while since somebody has commissioned me to make a card for them and I enjoyed making this one.
I`m off now to catch up on the ironing I should have done yesterday but I went to Stamperama instead !LOL (I`d rather be crafting) bye for now xx
Ooh I forgot to mention that I printed the sentiment out on my computer using Riva LET font and nesties ovals to frame it and the "18" numbers were cut out of Kanban glitter card using Caligraphy Cricut 2" Gratitude font.
Byeee xx

Bunny Love
This is a card I`ve done as a sample for Kay Rutter from her new Hougie Project Book number 2. She is going to be on Create and Craft in a couple of weeks and she asked me to do some samples to take with her for the show. This one is a Theatre card and is a lovely project to do to give a bit of dimension to a card.
The image is a Penny Johnson stamp available from Sir Stampalot, coloured with distress inks. The paper is Bo Bunny - Love Bandit Nuts 4U ( kind of apt using Bo Bunny for this image !)
The flowers are a mixture of Prima and Orchid crafts highlighted with a bit of stickles-diamond.
The die is my new one from Cheery Lynn also available at Sir Stampalot ( me thinks I will get a lot of use out of this one LOL !) The hearts are Nesties dies and the border punch is Martha Stewart-doily lace.
I`ve got a busy crafting day today, got some more samples of different card folds to get done for Kays show, I`ll post them soon.
Bye for now and happy crafting xx
