Two feet Tildas

This Tilda is one of my favourites but she gets a bit of bad press because at a glance it has been said she looks like she only has one leg !! ( bless her ) She has been nicknamed " stumpy " by a few people lol !
I have coloured her using distress inks - faded jeans, brushed corduroy, tattered rose, The background paper is Daisy Bucket and the bunting is cut from odd bits of daisy bucket and magnolia papers ( good way to use up scraps ) I have cut the bunting using Cricut Calligraphy cartridge and strung them together with SU lined thread.

Here she is again but notice two legs !

For her critics, I have given her TWO legs ! I pinched them from Mistletoe Tilda ( hope she doesn`t mind ! )as the hemlines of the dresses were a good match making it easier to line the legs up. It shows you can mix and match the "bits" of Tilda`s if there is one that isn`t quite to your liking !
I have coloured her with distress inks again - tattered rose, spun sugar, walnut stain, worn lipstick and paper pieced her with SU papers and added liquid pearls in petal pink for the spots on dress and her shoe buttons.
The punch used is Martha Stewart and the ribbon and sentiment are SU.

Looks like it`s going to be a lovely sunny day again, pity I`ve got to go to work !!bye for now xx

I must admit that i was one of those where she didn't quite appeal to me one legged but you've done a smashin' job and now i think she's brill.
Well done sara, and the chocolate and pink colouring is lucious.

  4. Awww, poor Tilda - I never thought of her as being that odd, but now you mention it LOL! So the leg transplant was a great idea, and both cards are just gorgeous - like the differences, one bright and summery, and the other with a more vintage look. Thanks for sharing.
