Wee Florist

Another Wee image, this one is Wee Florist and she`s one of my faves, actually I can`t really pick a favourite coz I love `em all!

I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and I have to say I really struggled with colouring the hair on this one. I`m not entirely happy with the result but I don`t think we are ever entirely happy with our own work are we? Anyway...

I`ve used NitWit Papers from LOTV, these ones are from the Country Lady Collection, Grand Nestabilities Stately Circles for the card shape, Cheery Lynn die - Fanciful Flourish, Martha Stewart POP set - Eyelet lace and Hobby House flat back pearls.

I made these gorgeous roses from the Spellbinders Vintage Floret dies from Heartfelt Creations available from Sir Stampalot. I had a huge amount of fun making these, in fact I couldn`t stop making them and now I have a whole tub of them in all different sizes and colours to use on future projects! The leaves are a Heartfelt Creations stamp set too which I cut out by hand.

I`d like to enter this into A Creative Romance challenge, this time around it is "Girly Creations" ( I think this one qualifies! LOL!)

It`s a horrible rainy day here at the moment, in fact it hasn`t stopped raining since early this morning, typical bank holiday weekend methinks! So I`m going to have a play with my latest purchase of a Ranger Melt Pot, got some lovely frame moulds and I also got some Pour and Mould to have a go and create my own embellishments too.

Thanks for looking in, bye for now xxx

  2. OMG Your flowers are stunning. You will have to show me how you make them ! I havent been on your blog for ages (or blogging for that matter). I cant believe what i have been missing, all these goodies for me to see. I am toying with the idea of colouring with distress inks. I usually use watercolour or pro markers. But you guys seem to get on well with the inks. We missed you at sir stamp. Hopefully we will catch up there at some point.
Thanks for the eye candy, i am inspired by all your creations. mel xxx
