Silver Fairy

Hello again,
here is another Gorgeous Wee design by Silvia Zet. I just adore her images. This one is Silver Fairy and I just loved colouring her. I`ve used Distress Inks and Markers to colour, flowers from Prima, Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts. papers are Graphic 45 and some others I`ve had in my stash for ever ( thought it was about time I used them )

I used Fantasy Film for her wings, a product I haven`t used in years but after clearing out my craft desk recently I came accross it and thought it time I used it up!

I`d like to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is "Super Fly"
Thanks for looking in, bye for now xx

On the road Tilda

I`m back after a bit of a break with another Tilda card. This one is on the road Tilda and I`ve coloured her with Distress inks and Markers

I`ve use Magnolia mini paper, Grand Stately Circles Nesties, La La Land banner die, Memory box Pipi Butterfly and Exquisite Coral, LOTV sentiment and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Just a simple little card to get me back into the swing of crafting again, it`s been ages since I`ve even sat in my craft room let alone done any stamping but now the weather is cooler and there is less to do outside I`ll get back into it again.

I`d like to enter this into the following challenges. Inky Chicks "Anything Goes" and All Sorts "Sugar and Spice"

Thanks for looking in, bye for now xxx

Rosetta

I`m back after a mini blog break, it`s been too nice weather to stay indoors and far too hot to sit in my craft room but I started to get withdrawal symptoms so had to give in finally LOL!

This is one of my latest purchases from Wee Stamps, the lovely Rosetta. I`ve coloured with Distress Inks and Markers and added a bit of glamour dust to her wings (a fairy`s got to have a bit of sparkle)! I also had a bit of a play with some frantage round the edges of the image too.

The flowers were made using the Spellbinders Heartfelt Creations Vintage Floret dies.

Other products used are, Martha Stewart POP Cherished, Crochet lace from The Ribbon Girl, Hobby House flowers, cameo rose embellishment and pearls, LOTV sentiment, Tim Holtz Memo Pin, Kaisercraft paper and the bow was created using the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board which is available from Sir Stampalot.

I`m off to sit under the fan now - phew! it`s hot today, makes a change from rain so I can`t complain!
Thanks for looking in, bye for now xx

Wee Florist

Another Wee image, this one is Wee Florist and she`s one of my faves, actually I can`t really pick a favourite coz I love `em all!

I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and I have to say I really struggled with colouring the hair on this one. I`m not entirely happy with the result but I don`t think we are ever entirely happy with our own work are we? Anyway...

I`ve used NitWit Papers from LOTV, these ones are from the Country Lady Collection, Grand Nestabilities Stately Circles for the card shape, Cheery Lynn die - Fanciful Flourish, Martha Stewart POP set - Eyelet lace and Hobby House flat back pearls.

I made these gorgeous roses from the Spellbinders Vintage Floret dies from Heartfelt Creations available from Sir Stampalot. I had a huge amount of fun making these, in fact I couldn`t stop making them and now I have a whole tub of them in all different sizes and colours to use on future projects! The leaves are a Heartfelt Creations stamp set too which I cut out by hand.

I`d like to enter this into A Creative Romance challenge, this time around it is "Girly Creations" ( I think this one qualifies! LOL!)

It`s a horrible rainy day here at the moment, in fact it hasn`t stopped raining since early this morning, typical bank holiday weekend methinks! So I`m going to have a play with my latest purchase of a Ranger Melt Pot, got some lovely frame moulds and I also got some Pour and Mould to have a go and create my own embellishments too.

For You

Here is a card I made recently for my friend Louise`s Birthday.

The image is "For you Tilda" available from Sir Stampalot. I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and added some liquid pearls here and there in the flower bunch. The little stamp around the image is from the Stampin` Up set "Tiny Tags". I`ve also used Wild Orchid Flowers, Papers from Magnolia and Melissa Frances, Hobby House flat back pearls, SU sentiment and Joy Crafts Butterfly Border and Oval dies.

I`d like to enter this into the Tilda`s Town Challenge which is "Favourite Colouring Medium" and I`ve used Tim Holtz Distress Inks of course! I would also like to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is "Anything Goes"

Sent with Love

I made this card for no other reason than to use one of the Wee Stamps my friend Kay sent me. He`s a cutie and I loved colouring him in.

I`ve coloured him using Distress Inks and Markers and added a bit of Glossy Accents to highlight his little pink nose.

The papers are Prima and Magnolia from Sir Stampalot, Wild Orchid flowers, Ribbon Girl crochet lace, Hobby House charm and flat back pearls, SU sentiment, Cheery Lynn - Fanciful Flourish die and a little wooden heart from my stash. I`ve no idea who will receive this one but I`m sure he`ll find a home in due course!
I`m ahead with all my Birthday Cards for the year but it`s such lovely weather at the moment with plenty of natural light that I`m taking advantage and getting as many images coloured before the weather changes (as it does very quickly here!) Which is what I`m going to get on with now, thanks for looking in, bye for now xxx

Happy Mail

Here is the second offering of my new Tiddly Inks images. I`m a little bit in love with these stamps, they`re great fun to colour and gives me the chance to improve my hair colouring and pleat colouring skills, I hope I`ve done her justice.

This one is Happy Mail but I`ve left out the little mail box on this card that the image comes with.
I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and added a couple of little bakers twine bows in her hair and boy! were they fiddly to tie! (I do like making work for myself!)

The sunflowers are a Die-Namics die that I won in a blog candy from the lovely and talented Tammie Edgerton, check out her lovely blog " One Happy Stamper" in my side bar. The sentiment is LOTV.
I`ve also used Tim Holtz - Memo pins, Memory Box Pippi and Isabella Butterflies available from Sir Stampalot. SU Ribbon Border Punch, Kaiser Kraft and Craft Creations papers and Hobby House flat back pearls.

I`d like to enter this into the latest Tiddly Inks Challenge which is "Celebrate"

We`ve had a change in the weather again here, back to good ol` British rain! so what better weather to get on with some more crafting! thanks for lookin in, bye for now xxx

Hang In There!

Hello, I`m back after a mini break from my blog, just been enjoying the lovely spring weather we`ve been having and getting some jobs done around the house. Now all the decorating and carpet laying is done and the new furniture is in, I can get back to some serious crafting. here is my first new card with a lovely Tiddly Inks stamp.

I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and used a cloud template in the background. This is a very Clean and Simple card for me and my hands were itching to put some extra embelies on it! But I managed to keep it minimal for a change.
The background paper is Melissa Francis and I just managed to find some SU buttons in my crafty stash that were the same shade. The dotty border was done by hand with a fine black micron pen.

It`s lovely sunshine today so I`m going to take advantage of the natural light and get some more images coloured in. I`ve collected some new Tilda`s and Tiddly Inks stamps which I`ve yet to ink up so I`d best get on with it.

Thanks for looking in, bye for now xx

Here`s another LOTV fabby image from their cute animals. Sorry if you`re getting sick of these on my blog but I LOVE `EM! This one is "It takes two" featuring the lovely Patch and Puss.
I`ve coloured with distress inks and markers as usual and added a bit of glossy accents to the icing and stickles diamond to the candles for a bit of sparkle.

I`d like to enter this into this months LOTV challenge which is Craft Bingo, I`m using the top row of the Bingo grid, Ribbon Pearls Flowers for this card.

It`s a gorgeous sunny day here, (makes a change from all the rain) so I`m going to get some colouring done and take advantage of the nice natural light, bye for now, thanks for stopping by xx

Hand Picked

Here is another card I`ve made for the year ahead. This image is LOTV - Hand Picked. I`ve coloured with Distress Inks and Markers and added a bit of glamour dust to the Bunny`s tail.
Papers are First Edition by Mindy Terasawa, WOC flowers, Doo Hickey Flag and Cloud, LOTV sentiment, SU button and twine.

We`ve spent the last two weeks decorating the bathroom, living room and having the whole house re-carpeted and I spent yesterday making all new curtains and soft furnishings for the living room, it looks fab but I am so tired! It was worth the effort though as it looks like we`ve moved into a new house! Now I can get back to some crafting finally!

I`d like to enter this into Inky Chicks challenge "Cute animal stamp"
And the LOTV monthly challenge "Name that Tune" and I thought "Daisy Daisy" fit the bill and now I have that song in my head LOL!

Card swap with Claudia

I`d like to share a card that I made for Claudia, just before Christmas she asked me to do a card swap with her for the New Year, her card arrived to me from America in only 6 days but it has taken almost 4 weeks for my card to arrive in America to her! Just shows you the difference between our post and theirs huh? I was beginning to think it got lost but she e-mailed me yesterday to say it had finally arrived and I`m so pleased she liked it.

I used a Wee stamp from Hobby House, this one is Wee Ruby which is one of my favourites. I`ve coloured with Distress inks and markers and added a bit of glamour dust here and there for sparkle.
The punch is Martha Stewart POP Cherished available from Sir Stampalot I`ve also used Grand Nesties Statley Circles, La La Land heart banner, Magnolia paper, Hobby House pearl string, WOC and Hobby House flowers, Spellbinders foliage die which I got from my good friend Louise for Christmas, LOTV sentiments and SU circle punches. Phew! in other words I threw a lot at this card!
I`m glad it arrived safely to it`s destination, it was great fun to swap cards with Claudia and I hope we do it again some time in the near future, I might send the next one special D though to make sure it gets there quicker!

I`m off shopping today for some accessories for my newly decorated bathroom, we`re having new carpets fitted throughout the house next week and a new floor in the bathroom so I had to get it decorated in time. Then I have a friend staying with me for the weekend so I`ll be a busy bunny for the next little while. Crafting will have to wait a bit, hope I don`t get withdrawal symptoms LOL!

Thanks for looking in, bye for now xxx

Hugs

Here`s another of my pre-made cards for the year ahead, this one can be for a lot of occasions I think it`s good to have a couple of other non birthday cards in hand for those unexpected times. I`ve used one of the LOTV animals stamps - "Big Hug" available here. I absolutely love these cute stamps, I went mad and ordered several and looking at the latest release will probably be ordering some more, I just can`t get enough of these sweeties.

I`ve coloured with Distress inks and Markers and added a bit of glamour dust on the bunnies tail and the flowers. The papers are also LOTV - Country Lady, Other procucts used are, flower die - English Rose by Marianne Creatables, Fern punch by Martha Stewart, Lace and Seam binding from Ribbon Girl, Molly Blooms sentiment and SU Butterfly cut `n` emboss die by Sizzix.

I just took delivery today of some new Tiddly Inks stamps which I also couldn`t resist, the trouble is when I go online just for a look they jump into my shopping cart! I`m a lost cause!

I`d like to enter this card into the following challenges,

LOTV monthly challenge which is "Anything Goes" and
Paper take weekly which is "Bow Dies"

Thanks for stopping by, Ta Ta for now xxx

Isabelle

Another card made for the year ahead, I`ve now got almost all my Birthday cards made for this year! I didn`t make a New Year`s resolution but I am trying to be more organized this year and so far it`s working!
This is a Stamping Bella Uptown Girl stamp - Isabelle loves her ice cream available here from Dies to Die for. I`ve coloured with Distress inks and markers and added Stickles - Diamond for a bit of bling.

The papers are NitWit Collections - Always and Forever 8" x 8" from LOTV I`ve also paper pieced her dress for a change ..... okay I lied, I did colour her dress but dropped a large blob of ink on it so had to cover it up rather than paint the whole thing again but I think it works okay. I was annoyed too because I had put a lot of effort into colouring the folds in her dress and I was happy with the result!

The flowers are WOC and the dies are Joy Craft - Butterfly border (I just snipped the little ones off the end ) and Cheery Lynn - Fanciful Flourish, also Spellbinder Grand Nesties Stately Circles.

I`d like to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is New Year Stash, I didn`t get this stamp for Christmas but she is a recent purchase and it`s the first time I`ve inked her.
Also In the Pink Challenge which is "Anything Goes"

Thanks for looking in xx

Tilda`s Bicycle

Happy New Year everyone out there in Blogland. I`m back with another Birthday card I`ve made trying to get ahead for the year. This is an older Tilda but it`s one I`ve only recently purchased and I think she`s a real sweetie. I`ve coloured her with Distress Inks and Markers and used Magnolia backing papers.
The Butterfly border is a Joy Crafts die and I`ve also used Magnolia Doo Hickey - Cloud and Flag. The Scallop border is SU and flowers and stamens are WOC. The fern is Ash Branch punch from Sir Stampalot.

I`ve recently been asked by the lovely and talented Claudia Rosa to swap cards which is enormously flattering and she sent me a beautiful Tilda card just the other day, you can check it out on her blog here it has pride of place in my craft room and I will treasure it. I love to receive hand made cards and I`m so lucky to have so many talented crafty friends who sent me some gorgeous creations for Christmas.

Now the Christmas decorations are down the house looks so bare and I`ve spent the last two days doing housework. I love the Christmas decorations but they are dust collectors LOL! it`s nice to get back to normal again and now my jobs are done I can have some crafty time.
